To remove a floppy disk from the floppy disk drive
1 Close all applications that were opened from the disk and wait for the LED
indicator to turn off.
2 Push the Eject button, and remove the disk.
To disconnect a floppy disk drive when the computer is on
1 Before disconnecting this drive, close any active applications to help prevent
data loss.
2 Double-click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the taskbar. The
Safely Remove Hardware window appears.
