Displaying Battery Information
You can display information for each of the batteries in your computer. The
following sections briefly describe how to display your computer’s general
battery information. Refer to PowerPanel Help for more detailed information.
To display the Battery Information window
1 Double-click the current Profile icon on the taskbar. The Battery Information
window appears.
2 Click Help in the lower right corner of the window for more information.
To display the Battery Information toolbar
1 Right-click on the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
2 Select Toolbars from the pop-up menu, and then click Battery Information.
The Battery Information toolbar appears on the taskbar.
❑ Time indicator — Displays estimated time (hours:minutes) remaining
before the battery fully discharges, also known as the time-to-empty.
To close the Battery Information toolbar
1 Right-click the Battery Information toolbar, and point to Toolbars.
2 Click Battery Information to cancel it. The toolbar disappears from view.

If the Battery Information toolbar is hidden behind the taskbar icons, right-click the
taskbar and deselect Lock the Taskbar, then click and drag the edge of the Battery
Information toolbar to the left.
