Setting the Shutter Type
Applicable modes:
You can use either of the two shutters to take pictures: the mechanical shutter or the
electronic shutter.
¢1 The mechanical shutter sound cannot be muted.
¢2 Electronic shutter sound settings can be changed in [Shutter Vol.].

Depending on the recording condition and the shutter speed, the
shutter type is switched automatically.
• Priority is given to the mechanical shutter, which places less
limitations on functions, including the ones you use when taking
pictures with the flash.
[MSHTR] Takes pictures only with the mechanical shutter.
[ESHTR] Takes pictures using only the electronic shutter method.
