The MX2800 specifically uses quoted line(s) in

REPT-ALM

and

REPT-EVT

Autonomous messages. The

REPT-ALM

message has the following quoted line format:

<aid>:<ntfcncde>,<condtype>,<srveff>,<ocrdat>,<ocrtm>,<locn>…

The

NTFCNCDE

field contains one of the following values:

• CL indicates alarm cleared.

• TC indicates transient condition.

• MN indicates minor.

• MJ indicates major.

• CR indicates critical.

The

REPT-EVT

message has the following quoted line format:

<aid>:<ntfcncde>,<condeff>,<srveff>,<ocrdat>,<ocrtm>,<locn>…

The CONDEFF field will contain one of the following values:

• CL indicates standing condition cleared.

• SC indicates standing condition raised.

• TC indicates transient condition.

4. TL1 COMMANDS

As stated in

TL1 Messages

on page 9-3, the general format for a TL1 command is as follows:

<verb>[-<mod1>[-<mod2>]]:<tid>:<aid>:<ctag>:<general block>:<keyword
block>: <state block>;

Areas of concentration for TL1 support in the MX2800 include session initiation, session termination, and
system event reporting.

Table 9-2

lists the commands currently supported by the MX2800.

NOTE

The Target ID (

tid

) is the same as the Unit ID. Refer to the

Unit ID

on

page 3-36.
