MTS Provided Templates
Templates are basically forms that will be populated by parameters defined in the
Options and Specimen tabs and data taken during validation. Templates provided
by MTS for typical data reporting include:
MTS-BendingPercent.xlt
A form with the percent bending strain of the upper, middle, and lower gauges.
This form also includes a basic header that provides fields for the equipment,
procedure, calibration equipment, and environmental conditions.
MTS-E1012-Round.xlt
MTS-E1012-Thick.xlt
MTS-E1012-Thin.xlt
A form that provides a data table the includes the minimum and maximum
desired and actual microstrain values for the data sets. the data tale also includes
the microstrain values for all gauges for the associated data sets, and the bending
strain associated the upper, middle, and lower gauges for each data set. Other
information is also provided that is specific to the specimen; for example
diameter for round specimens, thickness and with for thick and thing rectangular
specimens.
MTS-GE-S-400-
Report.xlt
A custom form that meets MTS’s interpretation of the requirements of the
GE-S-400 specification.
MTS-Graph.xlt
A simple template to use when you only want to import the graph from the
Validation tab.
MTS-kN.xlt
MTS-lbf.xlt
These are forms similar to the E1012 templates but without the specimen
information. The MTS-kN template is set up to search the axial force data using
values specified in SUI Metric units. The MTS-lbf template is set up to search the
axial force data using values specified in U.S. Customary units.
