Possible Local Area Connection Problems
The Local Area Connection associated with the added network interface card
must be enabled. If the connection is disabled (red X next to the icon), enabling it
depends on the type of connection. If the connection between the computer and
the 709 Alignment System box is through a network (using a regular cable
instead of the special red crossed cable that comes with the system), you should
contact the network support people. If the connection between the computer and
the 709 Alignment System box is direct (using the special red crossed cable), you
should check for loose connections (including inside the box where the adapter is
connected to the FP-2000).
