3. Click Report and then Create New Template. Determine the units, number
of data sets and the axial data of interest. Click OK.
For your reference, the software calculates and displays the max value for
the last data set. When OK is clicked, the 709 application will create a
worksheet with names containing all the available report information. This
will be used to get the names for your custom template. The names follow a
prefix naming convention:
in – input to the report generator software specifying the reporting options
out – output from the report generator software with the values obtained
from the validation data
Be aware of the column nomenclature distinction used in the MTS Provided
Templates. Desired refers to the axial values for which the software
searches, which were specified in the New Report Template dialog (e.g.,
Excel name: inSearchAxial1). Actual refers to the axial microstrain and
force values found by the software (e.g., Excel names:
outDataSet1AxialStrain and outDataSet1AxialLoad). The units are also
stored in Excel names: inSearchAxialUnits and inDislpayLoadUnits.
