The configuration for remote I/O drop x in Flash
memory on the module doesn’t match the drop
on the network.

Drop x OffLine

Remote I/O drop x is offline.

RIO FLASH Config
Invalid

The module is configured as a Remote I/O
master and the configuration in FLASH
memory is invalid. Run 56AmxnRioCfg and
configure the module.

Flash Config Drop
Mismatch

Configuration in FLASH is incompatible with
current switch settings

Thumb Test Mode

The module is in thumbwheel test mode. Refer
to page 10 for more information.

Table 23 4-Character Display

Messages are displayed twice, immediately after the error occurs. To see
the message again, cycle power. To determine the cause of the problem,
run 56AmxnMon and display the Debug Log.

Using 56AmxnMon for Troubleshooting

The program 56AmxnMon, described in detail on page 54, can be used
to troubleshoot the 56AMXN module.

If the ControlLogix processor has problems connecting to the module,
RSLogix 5000 shows a yellow triangle above the module in the I/O
Configuration. The module properties Connection Tab also provides
some information as to why the connection failed. For more details, run
56AmxnMon and display the Debug Log. It will show the connection
attempt and the reason the 56AMXN rejected the connection.

If a network error occurs, information will be logged to the Debug Log.
