Synchronizing Server Databases on Redundant Server
1. On SERVERA, click Start

ProcessLogix
Server
⇒
Station.
2. Click View
⇒
System Status
⇒
Server Redundancy to call up the
Server redundancy display.
3. Click the Oper field in the lower right corner of the display.
4. Key in >mngr< in the Station Logon dialog box and press
<Enter>.
5. Click Synchronize. When the Synchronize Databases (Y/N)
prompt appears, key in >Y< in the entry field above the display
and press <Enter>.
6. Wait for the synchronization to complete (“Synchronization
Complete” prompt appears) and verify that the display shows
simulated Green LED indications for the following states:
Primary Server
•
Running
Backup Server
•
Synchronized
•
Running
Link Status
•
Link 0 (LNK00) - OK Active link
•
Link 1 (LNK01) - OK Active link (Only applies if you are
using a dual LAN)
7. Click Station
⇒
Exit.
8. Click Yes to exit Station.
9. Verify redundancy has been established on both SERVERA and
SERVERB by using for DOS command C:\dual_status.
Confirming Databases are Synchronized
1. On SERVERA, click
Start
⇒
Run.
