StepĆbyĆStep Procedure for System Transfer Using the
TransferĆPlus Command
Use the following procedure to transfer systems using TransferĆPlus.
If you are transferring to diskettes, you will be prompted for additional
diskettes, if needed. Diskettes can be formatted or, to save time, you
can use preĆformatted diskettes. Diskettes do not have to be blank.
Figure 5.7 illustrates the TransferĆPlus dialog box.
Step 1.
Select the system(s) to be transferred from the systems
list.
Step 2. Select TransferĆPlus from the System menu. The
TransferĆPlus dialog box is displayed, with the selected
systems listed.
Step 3. Enter information for the following fields. Some fields
contain default entries. If you do not change these fields,
the defaults will be used.
Source/Destination Ć If you are transferring to or from
floppy diskettes, you must also select floppy drive A or B.
If you want to transfer to or from another AutoMax library,
select More Options and then enter the drive and AutoMax
library name.
Format Ć Check this box if you want to format the diskettes
before transferring the files. You can also enter Format
Qualifiers (DOS FORMAT switches).
System(s) Ć The systems selected when the TransferĆPlus
command was called are listed. You can edit this list. If you
are transferring from diskette, or from another AutoMax
library, enter the systems to be transferred.
