2. System Configuration Manager
The SYSTEM.INI file may be created manually, e.g. using ‘Notepad’, but it is best prepared with the aid
of the System Configuration Manager. The facilities available via the System Configuration Manager
are illustrated by Figure 4 below.

SYSTEM.INI files may be uploaded to or downloaded from the Trusted TM TMR Processor using the
System Configuration Manager. The Engineering Workstation (EWS) should be connected to the
Trusted
TM TMR Processor front panel diagnostic port using the Serial Maintenance Cable TC-304-01,
or via Ethernet using an 8153 Communications Interface Adapter (on the back of the slot containing a
Trusted
TM Communications Interface), providing the Maintenance Enable keyswitch on the front panel
of the Processor is set to the Maintain position.
