8. ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ Software
All Light Weight Deflectometers from TERRATEST GmbH are supplied with a user-friendly software, which
can be used to analyse the test data on a PC. This analysis meets the requirements of the German standard
TP BF-StB Part B 8.3. The software can be run on MS Windows XP, MS Windows 2000, MS Windows Vista,
MS Windows 7 and MS Windows 8.
To ensure full functionality, including the Google ® Maps interface, the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ software requires
an Internet connection and a browser. Ensure that the Internet browser installed on your PC connects to
the Internet.
8.1 Uninstalling the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ Software
If an older version of ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ is already installed on your PC, it must be uninstalled before the
installation of the current version. The new software cannot be installed otherwise. Use the uninstall
routine of the software as follows:
Go to START -> CONTROL PANEL -> SOFTWARE, select the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ software and click the
‘Change / Remove’ button. Your PC will then automatically uninstall the existing version of ‘TERRATEST
2.0’.
8.2 (Re-) Installing the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ Software
Insert the CD ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ into your PC. The installation
of the program will start automatically. If it does not start
automatically, go to START -> My Computer -> CD Drive
and start the file ‘Setup.exe’ from the CD.
If ‘NET Framework 4.0’, a necessary component for the
software application, is not already installed on your PC,
this will be installed first. Confirm the license agreement
by clicking ‘Accept’.
Once the installation of ‘NET Framework 4.0’ is
complete, the installation wizard will start automatically.
This installation program will guide you through the rest
of the installation.
Click ‘Next’ to start the installation.
