8.3.6 Converting Old Test Data

The data format for saving the test data on the PC has been modified, in order to use the new features of
the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ software. To be able to use older test data stored on the PC using a previous version
of the ‘TERRATEST’ software, this data must first be converted into the new data format. Test data stored
on large chip cards (credit card sized external media) will automatically be converted into the new data
format, when being loaded with the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ software.

Right-click on the button ‘LOAD TEST DATA’ and select ‘LOAD AND CONVERT T3000 TEST DATA’. A file
window will open. Navigate to the location of your saved test data and then select the test data to be
converted. After confirming by clicking ‘OPEN’ a second file window will appear, asking you to choose a
new save location for the newly converted data.

Once the conversion process is complete, the test data will appear as a test data list including data record
number, date, time, and Evd value in the left window. The test data is now ready for further processing.

A note on top of the left buttons indicates that the data shown is old-format test data converted into the
new data format.
