8.3.3 ‘TERRATEST 4000 USB’ – Reading USB Stick

To load data from the USB stick, insert it into the USB port of your PC.

Make sure that the software and driver of the USB stick are correctly installed on your PC, and that the
media is mounted correctly.

Click on the button ‘READ MEDIA’. A file window will open. Select the USB stick, then the folder,
showing the date of the test(s) in question. Finally, select the test data to be loaded. Click ‘OPEN’ to load
the test data from the USB stick. A progress bar will indicate the progress of the transfer. Once loading is
complete, the test data will appear in the left window as a test data list, including data record number,
date, time, and Evd value. The test data is now ready for processing.

If there is no data stored on the USB stick, you will receive the message ‘NO DATA AVAILABLE’, once
reading is complete.

The content of only one folder, one external media device, or the testing computer can be displayed in
the test data list at any one time. If you would like to include several test series in one test data list, save
all required data records in the same folder. Then, load it into the ‘TERRATEST 2.0’ software by clicking
on the button ‘LOAD TEST DATA’.

In the folder pane you can select the tests to be loaded. The test data of one working day has been saved
in one folder, named accordingly.
