8.3.13 Create Statistical Analysis

For the statistical analysis of various tests, left-click on the individual tests in the test data list on the left
hand side. If you would like to select several successive data records, left-click on the first and the last
data record, while holding down the Shift key. All marked data records are selected for editing. If you
would like to select several data records that do not appear next to each other in the list, left-click on the
desired data records while holding down the Ctrl key.

All selected data records are highlighted blue.

To enable a statistical analysis of the selected data records, right-click and select ‘ADD TO STATISTICAL
ANALYSIS’ from the menu. All data records selected for the statistical analysis will be marked with a report
symbol in front of each data record. If a data record was accidentally selected for statistical analysis, or if
a certain data record shall be removed from the statistical analysis, right-click on the relevant data record
and select ‘REMOVE FROM STATISTICAL ANALYSIS’ from the menu.

Once all data records desired for statistical analysis are selected and marked with the record symbol in
front of each data record in the test data list, click on the button ‘STATISTICS’ on the top right.

A statistical analysis in accordance with the German standard TP-BF-StB Part B 8.3 will be displayed. It
contains the previously selected data records.

The data of at least two tests is required for a statistical analysis.

The statistical analysis is divided in four areas:
Protocol heading, with general information about the tests, the construction site, and the test instrument
Test result chart, with the recorded test results, the required Evd value, and the GPS coordinates of the
testing points (where these exist)
Statistics, with the required minimum quantile, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of
variation, quality number and test criterion
Statement, additional comments to the analysis as well as images (such as a signature, for example) can
be added here. To add images, right-click and select ‘LOAD IMAGE’ from the menu.

The statistical analysis is based on the principle ‘Single sample plan – variable inspection’, although only
the dynamic deflection module Evd is analysed.

The device manufacturer and the serial number are automatically shown on the protocol heading. Other
project-specific data can be entered individually in the blank fields. If entries regarding the ‘Location of
the testing point’ have been made in the individual data records of the selected test data, this information
will also automatically be copied to the statistical analysis.
