When entering a number, the <Up> and <Down> buttons start in the slow mode and
change to the fast mode if either button is held down. Most numbers go to a maxi-
mum of 255; for a large number, it may be faster to use the <Down> button.

The switch’s front panel display is normally not illuminated. Pressing the front panel
buttons activates the display. If no command is issued, the display turns off after
30 seconds.


The following menus in the Table 3-3 are controlled using the front panel buttons.
<Tab> <Tab> tabs through multiple options. When displaying a menu
item, pressing <Tab> reverses through previous commands
and, if pressed repeatedly, turns off the front panel display.
<Enter> <Enter> accepts the input and executes the selected function.
To abort an entry, pressing <Tab> navigates to the previous
item.
