Hoop adjusting screw

SECURING MATERIAL IN EMBROIDERY
HOOP
1. Loosen hoop adjusting screw on outer frame and remove
inner frame. Place material between inner and outer frame.
2. Slightly tighten the hoop adjusting screw and pull material
edges to remove slack.
Fit the two frames together by pressing down on the inner
frame.
a. Tighten hoop adjusting screw.
b. Press down on the inner frame to stretch the material
into the outer frame, and then re-tighten the screw.
c. Tighten the material in the frames so that it makes a
sound like a drum when the tightened surface is tapped
with a finger.
Once material is properly positioned in embroidery
frame with no slack, securely tighten the screw.
