Playback a Dolby Surround source.

Press [nDPRO LOGIC],
The light turns off.
Turn Doiby Pro Logic off when playing a DVD recorded with 5,1-
channei Dolby Digital. The surround effects will not be reproduced
correctly if this is left on.
Speaker leve! adjustments
if the level of the speakers appears to be different while listening to a
source, adjust the level of the speakers to the same apparent level.
Sit in the normal listening position and make the adjustments with
the remote control.
Preparation: Press PDPRO LOGIC] to turn the light on.
Remote control only
CD Press [SHIFT] [TEST] to output a test signal.
A test signal is output from the speakers in the following order,
Lch: Front left speaker
Cch: Center speaker
Rch: Front right speaker
Sch: Surround speakers
The speaker’s indicator flashes white the speaker is outputting
the test signal.
CD Press [VOLUME (- or +)] to set the volume level of the front
speakers normally used for enjoying the source.
(D While the speaker to be adjusted is outputting a signal
Press the cursor buttons [A] (to increase level) or [V] (to
decrease level) to adjust the level of each speaker.
Lch, Rch: -16dBto0dB
Cch, Sch: -10 dB to +6 dB
Repeat step d) to adjust the level accordingly.

Press [SHIFT] -+• [TEST] again.
To select a specific speaker
1. Press [SHiFTl + [CH SELECT] to select the speaker.
