Recording discs
Preparation:
e Do the preparatory steps page 42).
9 Press [DVD/CD] to select disc as the source and insert the disc(s)
you want to record {» page 15).

Press [1]“[5j to select the disc to be
recorded, then [■] to stop piay.
The resume function is activated. Press [B] to cancel it.

® Press [•REC/STOP].
(2) Press [^] to start piay.
CD
Press REC/STOP] to start record­
ing.
The CD starts.
® With DVDs and Video CDs, play will not start when you press
[«REC/STOP]. Press [►] to start play.
To stop recording
DVD and V-CD
Press [©REC/STOP],
The disc keeps piaying,
CD
EITHER: Press [©REC/STOP].
The CD stops automaticaiiy.
OR: Press [0].
The CD stops, and the tape stops after making a 4 sec­
ond silent interval.
To record programmed tracks
V-CD and CD only
Cl) Program the tracks (•» page 23).
d) Press [©REC/STOP] to start recording.
Play starts.
To stop recording, press [©REC/STOP].
Disc play stops automatically.
Recording with CD MANAGER {■» page 25)
CD
Record discs after selecting the required CD MANAGER mode
(1-TRACK, 1-DISC, ALL-DISC).
9 If a track is cut off in the middle at the end of the front side while
recording, the track will be recorded from the beginning on the
reverse side.
• At the end of the reverse side, recording stops and the current
track will be interrupted.
• Recording pauses while discs are changing and resumes when
the disc is ready.
(T) Do steps 1 and 2 on page 25.
(D Press [©REC/STOP] to start recording.
Piay starts.
To stop recording
Press [©REC/STOP].
Disc piay stops automatically.
