CURRENT SENSOR

Sensor Description: The Current Sensor accurately measures current flow. This sensor is included in the
Novak Data Logger Pro (#

2010

).

Measurement Range: 0-100 amps

Resolution: 0.5A

Plugs Into: The 3-pin connector plugs into the Current Slot (CUR) in
the Novak Sentry Data Logger unit with the black wire toward the
outside/left edge of the case.

Installation Instructions

Install the Current Sensor in-line with either the black or red battery power wire. Note: Before you install the
sensor, locate where you want to mount the current sensor before you cut either the red or black power wires for
installation.

NOTE

For HV systems use the RED BAT1 wire to measure the motor current. Use the BLACK BAT2 wire to

measure total current of the system.

Installing in RED power wire:

o

The positive (+) terminal of the sensor should be soldered
to the RED wire from the positive (+) terminal of the battery
pack.

o

The negative (-) terminal of the sensor should be soldered
to the RED wire from the positive (+) terminal of the ESC.

Installing in BLACK power wire:

o

The positive (+) terminal of the sensor should be soldered
to the BLACK wire from the negative (-) terminal of the
ESC.

o

The negative (-) terminal of the sensor should be soldered
to the BLACK wire from the negative (-) terminal of the
battery pack.
