DEVICE SETTINGS

Type a new value over the existing setting, or click on the up and down arrow to change the value.

Changing the Maximum Number of Runs or Sample Rate will change the Maximum Record Time per Run. The
software automatically optimizes the Maximum Record Time per Run to the longest time possible. You can
reduce this time but cannot increase it without editing the Maximum Number of Runs or Sample Rate.

Shown are default Values

Maximum number of Runs – The maximum number of data files allocated on the
device. Each run requires an available data allocation. The fewer the number of
runs selected, the longer those runs can be.

Maximum Record Time per Run – The maximum time, in seconds, that can be
logged per run, given the number of runs and sample rates selected. The device will
automatically stop after the configured time.

Sample Rate – This setting sets the rate speed at which the readings are taken and
recorded from the sensors. The faster the data is recorded (lower number), the
more information will be available for data analysis. However, the faster sample rate
means shorter record time. The slower the rate means the less detailed the
information will be but allows for a longer record time.

WARNING!

Any time a configuration change is made to the Novak Sentry Data Logger device, it will clear

device memory. If there is any data on the device that has not been downloaded, it is advisable to download the
data before making any configuration changes.
