Sewing letters

When the letter cassette is inserted, it is possible to

sew 49 different letters, numbers or characters.

These characters can be programmed as words of up to

52 units (letters, numbers, characters or spaces).

The thread tension will be adjusted automatically

when you set the machine for sewing letters. Set the
machine for the material you will be sewing and follow
the directions indicated at the bottom left.

where the name should begin, keeping in mind that the
machine feeds the letters like an ordinary seam.

First press the button under PROG/REP, the light will

go on and digital “1” wiU appear in the left digital
window. This indicates that the machine is set for prog­
ramming the first letter. The digital window now indi­
cates another message than when the pattern cassette is

inserted, when it then indicates the stitch length.

Select the letter on the cassette you wish to begin with

by pressing the push-button under the row of the
selected letter. A light will go on above this row and
another one to the left at the top row of letters. Press the
same button until the light goes on to the left of the row
which contains the letter in question.

Then press the button furthest to the left _ ^ .Digi­

tal “2” will appear. Programe in your second letter in the
same way as the first one and press the Q button sa
that “3” appears, and so on.
