This printer is provided with a buzzer to indicate particular conditions according to the problem
detected:
• 1 short "beep" (0,25 sec): the BEL code has been sent; when the buzzer sound stops, the
printer returns to normal operation.
• Continuous "beep": the printer cover has been raised when the printer is enabled to print.
Close the cover and make sure that the message Wait ( READY indicator unlit) is displayed
before raising the cover again.
• 4 long "beeps": a fault condition has occurred. See later "
Error Handling ".
• 4 short "beeps": A condition of paper end or paper removal has occurred.
