User’s e-mail address, NetVue forwards e-mail messages to this address.

c. If necessary, override the access level inherited from the user’s group(s) membership.

3. In the Groups tab of the Settings user section, change the groups for this user.
4. To add the user to a group:

a. Select the group in the Available list and click << (or double-click the group).

5. To remove the user from a group:

a. Select the group in the Included list, and click >> (or double-click the group).

6. Click Apply.

10.5.6.3.2.1 About domain users and groups

Properties of domain users cannot be changed in NetVue. Examples of such properties include
name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.

You cannot add users to domain groups in NetVue. Domain group membership is managed on the
domain.

10.5.6.3.3 Editing account properties of a local user

1. In the Security Tree section:

a. Right-click the user.
b. Click Edit User.

2. In the User dialog box, specify these properties:

User name
This is the name used to log on to the NetVue Cluster - the name of the local Windows user account.

Full name
This name shows on NetVue user interfaces - in Information Events, etc.

Description
A short text that describes the user account.

Phone
This is the user’s telephone number.

Pager
This is the user’s pager number.

E-mail
This is the user’s e-mail address.

Level
This is the user’s access level. By default, access levels range from 1 (highest) to 5 (lowest).

Password / Confirm Password
This is the user’s password.
