Modem Setup

Select item number 1, Modem Name, to display the following screens to select the type of
modem.

After selecting the modem for the system, enter the correct baud rate and port (see
on
). Change the baud setting by entering the number next to the baud rate shown at
the bottom of the screen. For example, entering 2 will set the baud rate to 1200.
Note: If VSAT is used, the baud rate must be set to 2400.

For port, enter the port number. For example, entering 4 will set the port to 4. The available
ports are 4 to 6.

Select SAVE after setting up the modem.
Note: If you select Q-Quit, you are given a second chance to save any changes. At the prompt
“Quit without saving changes [y/n]”, select No and then select Save to save the new
changes.
