Configuration Settlement for Buypass

There are five card categories in the Buypass report:
• MasterCard/VISA
• T/E (Travel and Entertainment, and includes American Express)
• Discover
• Fleet
• Auth, which includes all pre-authorized transactions from the other four categories. This
means that each pre-authorized transaction is entered twice; once under the card used and
again under Auth. To avoid counting the total of pre-authorized sales twice, the Auth total
is not included in the Gasboy and Buypass reconciliation totals that are supposed to
balance.
The Buypass report displays the following parameters:
Parameter Description
FUEL Dollars of fuel purchased in each of the five categories.
MDSE Dollars of merchandise purchased in each of the five categories.
TOT$ The total dollars purchased with each of the card types.
COUNT The number of transactions for each card type.
TOT$ The total dollars for all card types.
ADJ$ Any adjustment made by Buypass.
GALS The number of gallons sold on cards for each type of fuel:
• R - Regular
• U - Unleaded
• S - Supreme
• D - Diesel
TRANS DATE The date of the current settlement.
TIME The time of the current settlement.
LAST DEPOSIT Yesterday’s balance.
RECONCILIATION The total amount sent by the site, and the total amount received by Buypass. If the two
amounts are equal, the balance appears to the right of the Buypass total. If the settlement is
out of balance, contact Buypass technical support.
