2.2.6 Connecting the Power Pack
The powerpack is an extension of the akkupack with an high performance integrated
power supply. Standard detector preamplifier voltages as well as an extra 5V supply are
delivered.
The Powerpack may be used to manage also power-hungry detectors or detectors with a
5V demand.
It may be used it as backup battery for the MCA166 similar as the akkupack.
Or use just as a stand-alone versatile power supply for many nuclear electronics.
