Bit 14= Error bit (1=Error, 0=No error)

Bits 8-11= Error code if bit 14 set:
(1=Queue full, 2=Memory allocation error, 3=Invalid operating mode
command)
Bits 0-7 contain the operation code requested:
0x40= Stop
0x80= Clear
0xC0= Operate
