If the number in the

Number of Scans

field exceeds the number displayed as the

Life Cycle

of the

rollers, it is time to replace the rollers.

Close the Epson Scan 2 Utility.

Replacing the Scanner Rollers

Check the scanner roller counter to see when you need to replace the rollers (DS-60000/DS-70000).

1.

Turn off the scanner.

2.

Unplug the power cord.

3.

Disconnect any connected cables.

4.

Remove any loaded originals from the scanner.

5.

Open the ADF cover.
