Changing the display contrast
The display can be dif fi cult to see, depending on the ambient brightness and the viewing angle. If the display is
dif fi cult to see, adjust the display contrast. The display contrast can be set to any of nine levels.
ex. Because the display is faint, increase the display contrast two steps.
Intensity of the back light is not adjustable.

Press [Option].
The setting display appears. •

Press [ ◄ ] or [ ► ] to select “1:Adjustment”, and then press
Adjustment mode [Enter].
The Adjustments display appears. •

Press [ ◄ ] or [ ► ] to select “5:Display contrast”, and then press
[Enter].
The Display contrast display appears. •
[ ▲ ] indicates the current display contrast.

Press [ ► ] two times.
Press [ ◄ ] to make the display contrast lighter.

Press [Enter].
The display returns to the character input display. •
