Link Test
• Web based ping test and throughput test option is available for testing a link
.
Association of Radio
• In the 5 GHz band, due to DFS requirements (avoidance of interfering with Military
Radar), there might be a time delay in association of a radio. Usually it will associate
within 1 minute.
• For few channels the radios is required to sense the channel for a full one minute before it
will even send out a beacon for setting up a link
Firmware upgrade
• A Web based firmware upgrade option
• It will automatically retain the same configuration parameters which were configured
before the upgrading.
Multiple watchdog timers
For cases when the device is stuck in an invalid state during firmware upgrade, the hardware
watchdog timer detects the situation and will restart the equipment.
