Nexus PRO™ User Guide

2.10 Disabling Radio for Single Radio Operation

The Dual Nexus PRO backhaul contains two Nexus PRO radios within a single enclosure for
operational flexibility. However, single radio operation is also possible by disabling one radio and
using the other as a Root Bridge, Remote Bridge, Remote Router/NAT or Remote NAT. The Disable
Radio function is available only when the Device Operational Mode is set as Repeater Mode.

Note: If only one radio is needed, ensure that the other radio is disabled.

Follow the steps below to disable one of the radios:

1. Go to the System Configuration Page.

2. Click on the “Current Operational Mode” and select Disable from the dropdown menu of the

radio to be disabled.

3. Click on the Apply Changes button to save the necessary configuration. Depending on the

other radio configuration (Bridge or Router) a confirmation pop up IP settings window will
appear.

4. Dial the necessary configuration and click on the Apply Changes button to save the

configuration.
