SNMP is used to access and manipulate Management Information Base (MIB) files
on the target agent. For more information about SNMP and the classes of MIB files

Before You Begin

Log in to the service processor (SP) as Administrator to reach the ILOM web GUI.
Only accounts with Administrator privileges are enabled to modify SNMP settings.

9.8.2

What to Do

1. From the Configuration tab, choose System Management Access, then SNMP.

The SNMP Settings page appears.

2. Type the port number in the Port field.

3. If you want to permit SNMP set requests, click the check box.

4. Click the check boxes to enable SNMP v1, v2c, or v3.

SNMP v3 is enabled by default. You can independently enable or disable v1, v2c,
and v3 protocol versions.
