5. Click Save for your settings to take effect.

6. At the bottom of the page, you can also add, edit, or delete SNMP communities, as

well as SNMP users.

SNMP Communities and Users

a. To add an SNMP community, click the Add button in the SNMP Communities

table.

The Add dialog box appears. Complete the following information. When you
have finished entering information, click the Save button.

Community name – Type a name that includes up to 35 characters. Start with
an alphabetic character and use no spaces.

Permissions – Select either read-only (ro) or read-write (rw) permissions.

b. To modify an SNMP community, click the radio button of the community to

modify, then click the Edit button in the SNMP Communities table.

The Edit dialog box appears. Complete the following information. When you
have finished entering information, click the Save button.
