Testing the telephone for survivability
Step Action
Test the survivability of the connections and functions using the Test Local
Mode command on the MG 1000B IP Phone.
1 Press the Services key (the key with a Globe icon) to display the
Options menu.
2 Use the navigation keys to navigate to Test Local Mode.
3 Press the Select soft key.
This registers the IP Phone to the MG 1000B CP PM.
4 Make and receive a call on the telephone.
5 To redirect the telephone to the main office TPS node:
a. Press the Services key (the key with a Globe icon).
b. Use the navigation keys to navigate to Resume Normal Mode.
