Linearisation

The correlation between level and volume is
defined by so-called linearisation curves. If
there is a correlation in your vessel between
level ("

Percentage value“ of the level) and the

volume (value of the volume) other than linear,
choose in the menu window "

Conditioning“ the

menu item "

Instrument data/Parameter ad-

justment/Conditioning“.

• Click in the menu window "

Conditioning“ to

the menu item

"Linearisation“.

The menu window "

Linearisation“ opens, in

which a linear correlation between percent-
age value of the level and the percentage
value of the volume is preadjusted.

Beside the two programmed linearisation
curves "

Cylindrical tank“ and "Spherical tank“

you can also enter "

user programmable

curves“. Linear means that there is a linear
correlation between level and volume.

User programmable linearisation curves

• Click to "

User programmable curve“ to

enter your own vessel geometry or a user
programmable filling curve.

• Click to "

Edit“.
