Chapter 7: Roof Assembly
Guidelines for Assembling and Lifting the A-Frame Rafter Sections
The roof is assembled in sections and referred to as A-frame rafter sections. Each A-frame rafter section is
assembled on the ground and lifted into place.
IMPORTANT: Do not drill additional holes in purlins. Install the flange bolts and nuts as dictated by the
number of holes in the purlin.
NOTE: Use purlin clips as lifting points, as shown.
