create the Micro-PWC folder and create the capuser account.
3.5.1.7 Installation Options
• The Installation Options window appears. Make sure the Start Micro-PWC Network Level
services automatically box is highlighted.
• Make sure the Start Micro-PWC display automatically box is not highlighted.
• Make sure the Use Desktop Colors box is highlighted.
• Make sure the Font Size box to the left of Medium is highlighted. You can click one of the ?
buttons at any time for help.
• Click the Next button.
• A message window appears informing you that the Micro-PWC software is now installed on
your system (in full Micro-PWC mode). To activate this program, you must have the hardware
key plugged into the parallel port on the base PC and enter the proper license keys when
prompted. Click the Ok button.
• The Setup sub-window will close and return back to the main Installing Micro-PWC Setup
window.
3.5.1.8 Installing Micro-PWC License Keys
• An information window appears stating that Setup will now start the Micro-PWC Maintenance
Utility where all of the Micro-PWC systen license keys will be entered.
• An Information window appears explaining on how to use the Micro-PWC Maintenance utility.
• The License Features window appears. Click the Add button at the bottom of the window.
• The Add New Feature window appears. In the Feature text entry field, type Micro-PWC. This
field is not case sensitive.
• Make sure that the information in the Version field, Expiration Date field, and Number of Users
field is correct. If not, enter the correct information.
• In the License field, enter your 20-digit Micro-PWC system license key. Do not enter any
spaces when you enter this license key. This field is not case sensitive.
• Click the Ok button.
• Add additional license keys, as necessary for your Micro-PWC system.
• After all license keys have been added, click the License Admin item on the toolbar and select
Save.
• Then click on the License Admin item on the toolbar and select Exit. This sub-window closes
and returns you to the main Setup window.
3.5.1.9 Choosing Location for the Micro-DCI Portion of Micro-PWC System
• The Choose Destination Location window appears, which enables you to specify the drive and
directory where you want the Micro-DCI Communications Services portion of the Micro-PWC
system installed. The drive and path you select does not impact the location of the Micro-
PWC files you just installed earlier in the installation process. You can accept the default path
by clicking the Next button or you can change the destination directory by clicking the Browse
button.
• If you clicked the Browse button, enter both the drive and directory you want to use as the
destination directory in the Choose Directory field.
