• Click the Ok button.
3.5.2.5 The SETUP Window
• A setup window appears. Then the Micro-PWC pop-up window appears.
• To continue click the Next button.
• The Operational Mode window appears. Select Micro-PWC Client mode. Click the ? button at
any time for help.
• Click the Next button.
• In the window that appears, enter a number between 1 and 99 in the Enter node number field.
If you have more the one Micro-PWC system on this Ethernet, you must make sure the
number you enter is a unique number.
• In the Enter node group number field, enter a number between 1 and 50.
• Click the Next button.
• The Client Settings window appears. Click on the Search button to request that the Setup
program search for available servers and create a list of these servers.
• A list of available servers appear in the Available Servers window. From the list of servers,
select the server you want to designate as the Primary Server and click on the Primary button.
Then select the server(s) you want to designate as the secondary server(s) and click the
Secondary button. You can click the ? button at any time for Help.
• After selecting the primary and secondary servers, click the Close button to continue.
• Click the Next button.
• In the Installation Directory window that appears, enter the full path where you want the
Micro-PWC system files to be installed. The default installation drive and directory is
C:\MICROPWC. If you want to change this path, enter both the drive and directory/directories
you want to use as the installation directory for the Micro-PWC system files.
• Click the Next button.
• If the directory you entered does not yet exist, a Question window will appear asking if you
want this directory created. If this window appears, click the Yes button.
3.5.2.6 Copying Micro-PWC Files
• The Micro-PWC Setup program then begins to extract and install the Micro-PWC system files
to the path you specified. In the Extracting/Installing files window, the progress bar moves
from 0% to 100% as the files are installed. Wait until all files are installed (100%) before
proceeding. .
• An information window appears informing you that Setup will now install the required servers,
create the Micro-PWC folder and create the capuser account.
3.5.2.7 Installation Options
• The Installation Options window appears. Make sure the Start Micro-PWC display
automatically
box is not highlighted.
• Make sure the Use Desktop Colors box is highlighted.
• Make sure the Font Size box to the left of Medium is highlighted. You can click the ? button at
any time for help.
