• Click the Next button.
• A message window appears informing you that Micro-PWC is now installed on your system (in
Micro-PWC Client mode). To activate this program, you must have the hardware key plugged
into the PC and enter the proper license keys when prompted. Click the Ok button.
• The Setup sub-window will close and return back to the main Installing Micro-PWC Setup
window.
3.5.2.8 Installing Micro-PWC Client License Key
• An information window appears saying Setup will now start the Micro-PWC Maintenance
Utility where the Micro-client License Key will be entered.
• An Information dialog appears with information on how to use the Micro-PWC Maintenance
utility.
• The License Features window appears. Click the Add button at the bottom of the window.
• The Add New Feature window appears. In the Feature text entry field, type Microclient
with no spaces in this word. This field is not case sensitive.
• Make sure that the information in the Version field, Expiration Date field, and Number of Users
field is correct. If not, enter the correct information.
• In the License field, enter your 20-digit Microclient license key. Do not enter any spaces when
you enter this license key. This field is not case sensitive.
• Click the Ok button.
• After the license key has been added, click the License Admin item on the toolbar and select
Save.
• Click on the License Admin item on the toolbar and select Exit. This sub-window closes and
returns you to the main Setup window.
3.5.2.9 Select a Program Folder
• The Select Program Folder window appears. Select the Program Folder you want the
Micro-PWC program icons added to. The Micro-PWC folder is selected by default as the folder
for the program icons. You can accept the default, select an existing program folder, or type a
new program folder.
• An Information window appears advising you to delete a program group after the installation is
complete.
• Click the Ok button.
• The Micro-PWC Setup program then creates the Micro-PWC System program folder and
automatically adds the appropriate icons for the Micro-PWC product.
• Setup will now ask if you want to restart the PC.
• Select Yes and then click the Ok button to restart the PC.
3.5.3 Microsoft Excel Installation Requirements
Use the installation instructions supplied by the manufacturer to install Microsoft Excel for Windows on the
PC on which the Micro-PWC system software is loaded.
After Microsoft Excel has been installed, the PATH environment variable must be updated to include the
path of the Microsoft Excel executable program. This path may be included as follows:
