APPENDIX XIII: WALL MOUNTING BRACKET

The wall bracket that comes with the instrument is in two pieces. The parts envelope contains
four nylon washers and four bolts. The instrument may be located above eye-level, with the
front display oriented downward, or at or below eye-level, with the front display oriented
upward.

To assemble the wall bracket and mount the instrument on the wall:

1. Locate the position on the wall where the instrument will be installed.

2. Remove the four rubber feet from the bottom of the instrument.

3. With the instrument oriented as it will be mounted on the wall, place one of the

mounting bracket pieces against the back of the instrument. The slotted holes in the
plate MUST be positioned with the slot up.

4. Install the bolts through the mounting plate. Place a nylon washer on the bolt so it

will be between the instrument back and the mounting plate. Screw the bolt into the
hole where the foot was removed.

5. Install the other mounting plate in the same manner.

6. Place the instrument against the wall where it will be mounted and mark out the

positions of the four slotted holes on the wall.

7. Install a ¼ inch bolt/screw at the top of the slot, on each of the positions on the wall.

Leave about ½ inch of the bolt/screw exposed.

8. Place the instrument onto the wall hardware and let it drop down to engage the

bolts/screws. GENTLY tighten the wall hardware. The instrument should be able to
be removed by lifting it off the wall hardware.
