g VOLUME knob

Turn to adjust the AV (Audio and Video) vo-
lume or press to change the AV source.
Press and hold

VOLUME knob to switch the

source to mute.

Start the engine.

The navigation system is also turned on.
After some time, the navigation opening
screen comes on for a few seconds. Then, a
message screen is displayed.

p Insert the Pioneer DVD Map Disc to the

disc loading slot.

Check the details of the caution mes-

sage and touch [OK].
You can operate the navigation system by
touching keys displayed on the screen. The
map of your surroundings is displayed.

Turn off the vehicle engine.

This navigation system is also turned off.

p This product also can be switched off by

turning the ACC (ignition) OFF.

Inserting/Ejecting a Disc

Inserting a disc

% Insert a disc into the disc loading slot.

p The DVD drive plays one standard 12-cm or

8-cm (single) disc at a time. Do not use an
adapter when playing 8-cm discs.

p Do not insert anything other than a disc

into the disc loading slot.

Ejecting a disc

% Press EJECT button.
The disc is ejected.

Opening and Closing the
LCD panel

CAUTION

! Do not close the LCD panel with hands by

force. This may cause malfunction.

! Keep hands and fingers clear of the display

unit when opening, closing, or adjusting the
LCD panel. Be especially cautious of chil-
dren

’s hands and fingers.

The LCD panel will open or close automatically
by turning the ignition switch on or off. You
can turn off the automatic open/close func-
tion.
p The automatic open/close function will op-

erate the display as follows:
— When the ignition switch is turned OFF

while the LCD panel is open, the LCD
panel will close after a few moments.
