2. Connect the Cable
The MFP can be connected to the PC via USB cable.
Caution
- When the power is ON, do not connect or remove any kind of the communication port.
Connect USB Cable
You can connect your PC using the USB cable, which supports the standard of USB port to be used
internally.

Check that the power switches of the MFP, PC, or other connectors are OFF.

Connect the printer to the PC using the USB cable.
USB cable is required for the USB port. Check that the USB mark on the printer and the mark on
the cable are the same:
