Major Error Messages and the Solutions
Operation error or device error is displayed on the screen, If any message not listed below is shown,
please take proper actions given the content of the message:
Message Cause Solution
Remove the paper. Paper is jammed inside the
Machine. Remove the paper.
Please call service An error occurred inside the
Machine. Contact our Call Center.
1) Press the reboot
button.
2) If not working, turn
off and on the
power switch.
3) If not working,
please call service.
An error occurred inside the
Machine 1) Press 【 】 Rest button on
the right of the Control Panel.
2) If not remedied by resetting,
shut OFF the power, and turn it
back ON.

No toner: replace the
toner. Toner is no longer of any use. Replace the toner.
Replace the PCU. PCU is no longer of any use. Replace the PCU.
Check the paper size. The sizes of the original and
paper are ill-fitting. Check the paper size and then
put well-fitting paper.
Selected paper is not
available with the
Finisher. Do you want
to print with the
internal tray? You try to use the paper not
supporting the Finisher Output.
Output by pressing [YES] and
using the internal tray, or cancel
the job by pressing [No].
Out of staples. Add
staples. To cancel
staple, press
[Staple cancel].
To cancel this job,
press [Job cancel]. Staple chips used up during
using the staple. “Restart the operation by
loading the staple, or restart
the operation without staple
by pressing [Cancel Staple], or
cancel current job by pressing
[Cancel Job].”
