3. Solve the Original Jam /Paper Jam
When a original or paper is jammed, a message of identifying its jammed location is displayed on
the LCD. Remove the jammed original or paper carefully in the following order.
If it cannot be removed, please notify SINDOH Customer Support Center or Service Center.
Original Jam
If a original is jammed in the ARDF, a message of “Open the Cover of the ARDF and then remove
the wrongly set Original (J***)” is shown on the screen.
Remove the jammed original carefully in the following order:
Important
- If the jammed original is not taken out easily, do not remove it forcibly. Forcing it to take
out or pulling it too strongly may make the file torn. Remove the jammed original carefully.

Pull the Cover (①) of the ARDF up and open it.

Remove the jammed original (②) carefully. If the jammed original cannot be removed, proceed
with the Step ③.
