FAX Features
Security
The Machine has the improved security facility of “Security Transmission and Security Reception”.
To use the Security Transmission/Reception, you should input the security password for
transmission/recrption.
G3 & JBIG, High-speed File Scan, and Quick Memory Transmission
The built-in type 33.6Kbps Fax Modem, based on ITU-T, V.34, allows super-high transmission
in 2-3 seconds on any standard phone line by supporting G3 communication system.
Filed with images can be transmitted in super-high speed, as JBIG, new standard compression
format, is applied to.
File Orientation Rotation Transmission/Reception
If the file orientation is different from the paper orientation, printing is made by rotating the file
image 90 degrees automatically in accordance with the paper orientation. Stored file can be
transmitted after rotating 90 degrees. So, transmission/reception can be made regardless of the
file orientation of the other party’s facsimile.
Triple Operation
Operation function or the next transmission can be designated during memory
transmission/reception or copy/print.
Fax Deliver
Fax files, received in reserved hours, can be transmitted to special receiver.
As the fax, transmitted to the office, can be received at the place out of the office such as
external office or a house, it can prevent the loss of business opportunity.
Transmission Status Report
The transmission status to check that fax transmission has been successfully completed to the
other party can be printed automatically. Transmission Status Report may be set to print all
transmissions or to print temporarily.
