2. After taking a tare, place the first object on the pan.
Automatic
When set to Automatic, the weight of the object will be added automatically. Once the weight
stabilizes, the TOTAL indicator will appear on the display, signaling that the weight has been added to
the grand total.
Note: In Automatic and Semi-Automatic modes the minimum weighing mass must be equal to or greater
than 10d. To see this limit expressed in grams turn to detailed specifications on page 4.
Manual
When set to Manual, the weight of the object must be added manually. Once the weight stabilizes
and the stability indicator appears on the display press the “F” key to add the weight to the grand total.
Upon pressing “F,” TOTAL will appear on the display, signaling the weight has been added to the grand
total.
Note: With each added weight, the grand total result appears on the display for approximately
three seconds. To recall the grand total at any time, press the “M” key.
