Use low-tack tape to hold the cowling in position while drilling
the holes for the cowl mounting screws using a drill and a
3/32-inch (2.5mm) drill bit.

Thread an M3 x 10 screw into each hole to cut threads in the
surrounding wood.

Apply a small amount of thin CA to harden the threads made
in the previous step.

Slide the cowl back into position. Secure the cowl to the
fuselage.
