Configuration Using the Web Interface

Event Selection

Event Types can be divided into two basic groups: System Events and Port Events. System Events are related
to the overall function of the switch, whereas Port Events are related to the activity of specific ports.

System Event

Warning is sent when….

Device Cold Start

Power is cut off and then reconnected.

Device Warm Start

Reboot the device by CLI or web user interface.

Power 1 Failure

Select this if you want the ES8510 to send notification of a PW1 failure.

Power 2 Failure

Select this if you want the ES8510 to send notification of a PW2 failure.

Authentication failure

An incorrect password or SNMP Community String is entered.

Time Synchronize Failure

Accessing the NTP Server is failing.

Fault Relay

Fault Relay has occurred.

DI1 Change

The Digital Input#1 status has changed.

DI2 Change

The Digital Input#2 status has changed.

Ring Event

A ring event has occurred.

Loop Protection

A loop protection event has occurred.
