■ DISC DIRBCT^'PLAY---

To check the remaining time

Press the CD EDIT/REMAIN button during playback.

The amount of time remaining until all tracks finish playing is
displayed.
To restore the play time display, press it again.
When using the remote control, press the EDIT/REMAIN button.

Searching for a particular point in a track

You can locate a particular point in a track during play by monitoring
fast forward sound or observing CD playing time in the display.

Keep the ◄◄ DOWN or ►► UP button pressed and release it at the

desired point.

Skipping to the beginning of a track

You can locate the beginning of any track on disc.

Press the ◄◄ DOWN or ►► UP button repeatedly.

To select a disc -*

Press one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons. The selected disc

is played.
Only the selected disc number on the DISC DIRECT PLAY button

flashes.

If you press one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons with the power

off, play begins with the selected disc.

• A disc can be selected during play.

To remove discs

Press the it OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc compartment.

You can remove two discs. To remove the disc on the back tray,

press the DISC CHANGE button to rotate the disc tray.

If you press the A OPEN/CLOSE button with the power off

The power is turned on and the disc compartment opens.

NOTE

• Do not tilt the unit with discs loaded. This may dislodge the discs.

Use under these conditions may damage the discs.

• Do not place more than one compact disc on one disc tray at the

same time.

CHANGING DISCS DURING PLAY

Up to two discs can be replaced during play. -> Q]

Press the DISC CHANGE button to open the disc compartment.

Remove the discs and place other discs.

The disc placed on the left side tray will be played next.

Press the ± OPEN/CLOSE button to close the disc compart­

ment.

All discs are played once.
